Contemplating Life and PrioritiesAn amusing moment involved instructing Billy from my hospital bed to promptly contact our circuit clerk’s office so he could check when absentee voting would commence; unsurprisingly he learned it began on September 23rd—which was quite worrisome since I feared obstacles might arise from previous infections!

Defying all expectations—on Monday September 23rd—I completed one last civic responsibility by casting my vote right at Lafayette County Courthouse following routine hospice care visits leading up! The moment felt extraordinary not just because milestones were celebrated but also connected deeper via social media with friends who’ve consistently supported me throughout my battle against cancer; every heartfelt Facebook post resonated profoundly within networks!
