A vehicle struck a public bus at the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and South Decatur Boulevard around 4:40 a.m. on Monday.[1][2] Authorities responded quickly to the scene in the Chinatown area, where the incident unfolded before rush hour traffic began to build. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at the crash site shortly after the 4:40 a.m. report. The vehicle collided with an RTC FAST public bus that had been parked along Spring Mountain Road near Decatur Boulevard.[3] The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.
Two individuals occupied the bus at the time, but neither reported injuries.
