Officers arrived around 3:41 p.m. after a 911 caller reported hearing a gunshot and seeing a man injured. They discovered a hotel employee in his 30s suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.[3] The victim, described as Asian and newly hired at the property, showed no signs of provocation leading up to the attack.
