A boozy gathering at Roberts’ home in July 2024 spiraled into scandal when the then-mayor engaged in flirtatious behavior with her son’s 16-year-old friend.[1][2]
The victim recounted heavy drinking that left him vomiting and disoriented. Roberts, also intoxicated, winked at him, danced provocatively, and posed for photos where she grabbed him closely. Their interaction escalated quickly by the poolside with kissing, leading them upstairs.[2]
