The president of FC Barcelona, **[Joan Laporta](https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/club/president)**, expressed his criticism of Real Madrid’s forward **Kylian Mbappé** following the Spanish Supercup final, where Barcelona triumphed over the Madrid team with a score of 3-2.
“I was taken aback by Mbappé’s behavior. One should demonstrate generosity and respect in both victory and defeat. This is sports; it’s important to conduct oneself appropriately. I believe that when we won, we showed respect towards our opponent, which is why I don’t understand Mbappé’s actions,” Laporta stated in an interview with RAC1.
It was previously reported that Mbappé disrupted Real Madrid players from creating a championship corridor for Barcelona after the match.
With this victory, Barcelona secured the Supercup for the 16th time in its history, setting a record for the tournament. Real Madrid has won this trophy 13 times.
