LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Cities in Lincoln County could get some house to increase because the U.S. Bureau of Land Administration strikes to promote 5,500 acres of public land in Nevada.
A Thursday BLM information launch stated the parcels are close to the cities of Rachel, Hiko, Alamo, Mt. Wilson, Pioche, Panaca, Caliente and Crestline. Lincoln County borders Clark County to the north.
Exact places for the 66 parcels weren’t included within the information launch, which stated the sale date and particular places can be introduced individually.

About 67% of all of the land in Nevada is managed by the BLM. In recent times, that has been one of many limitations to progress and the development of reasonably priced housing. Congressional leaders, Gov. Joe Lombardo, state and county leaders have labored with the BLM to search out methods to remove crimson tape to launch extra land for growth.
A latest effort to unload public lands in Nevada and different states was turned away after it was proposed by Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee. Eradicating that proposal was key to the passage of President Donald Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill.”
This sale will observe the Lincoln County Conservation, Recreation, and Improvement Act of 2004, with 85% of the funds earmarked for county recreation, wilderness planning, and the safety of archaeological and pure assets; 5% will go to the State of Nevada…
