Las Vegas – Nevada high school athletes turned in impressive showings across baseball, softball and boys volleyball Tuesday, with lopsided victories and clutch plays defining the day’s action.[1]

Bishop Gorman crushed Shadow Ridge 12-2 in just six innings, sparked by senior Chase Wilk’s home run and four RBIs.[1][2]

Liberty also dominated, handing Las Vegas High a 7-1 defeat behind sophomore Austin Rodriguez’s two-for-three effort that included a triple and two RBIs. Cayden Rogers-Ramirez pitched four innings for Liberty, allowing four hits. Other blowouts included Canyon Springs’ 21-2 rout of Sunrise Mountain, Clark’s 15-4 win over Cimarron-Memorial, Desert Oasis’ 18-0 shutout of Del Sol, Desert Pines’ 11-2 triumph against Cadence, and Mater East’s 15-0 mercy rule over Eldorado.

Closer contests saw Bonanza edge Centennial 8-3, with Centennial’s Chase Hurley going three-for-four including a double, triple and two RBIs, while Bonanza’s Landan Rehmel-Quinones was three-for-three with a double. Green Valley prevailed 5-2 over Legacy, and Spring Valley hammered Mojave 12-2 led by Brayden Lenahan’s three-for-four performance with two RBIs and four doubles. Liberty Baptist and Lincoln County split, with scores of 2-1 and 18-8.
