Such warmth marked a notable departure from typical late-January expectations. The region saw 8 to 12 degrees above average, setting the stage for an inviting weekend.

Saturday brought highs near 71 degrees under full sunshine, according to multiple sources. Lows dipped to the mid-40s overnight, but daytime comfort prevailed with minimal wind.[3][2]
