Former world number one and three-time Grand Slam finalist, Russian tennis player **Dinara Safina**, shared her thoughts on who she believes is the favorite for the current **Australian Open**.
“When it comes to my top pick, honestly, I only see Arina [Svetlana] as the main contender right now. Just the way she’s playing and her mindset… For me, it’s Arina.
As for the men’s side, I think **Jannik Sinner** stands out. I don’t see anyone better at the moment. Of course, we all have our personal preferences — it would be nice if this player or that player won. However, if we base our views on reality rather than our wishes and dreams, I would say Sinner and Arina,” Safina remarked in a video message posted on the Telegram channel “The Best Tennis Podcast.”
