President Trump on Sunday celebrated Sen. Thom Tillis’s (R-N.C.) announcement that he would not search reelection subsequent 12 months.
“Great News!” Trump wrote on Fact Social on Sunday night.
The North Carolina senator abruptly introduced his plans earlier within the day amid a days-long spat with the president over Tillis’s opposition to the GOP’s large tax and spending invoice. He additionally railed in opposition to Tillis on Sunday forward of the reelection determination, labeling him a “talker and complainer, not a doer.”
