The acting head coach of the Moscow region’s “Khimki,” **[Magomed Abdiev](https://www.example.com/tags/7238-adiev/)**, shared his thoughts on the drawn match against “Orenburg” (1:1) during the 28th round of the Russian Premier League for the 2024/2025 season.
— The first 10-15 minutes were dominated by the home team. We were adjusting to the artificial pitch and made some technical errors. After that, we adapted and had a good passing game for about 25-30 minutes, creating opportunities and chances. Unfortunately, the second half started with both teams attacking, and “Orenburg” managed to score during one of their attacks. The game lost some coherence, and tactical elements took a back seat. However, thanks to our substitutions, we were able to equalize. We could have even scored a second goal, but we also had some moments where we could have conceded.
**— Which team was closer to winning?**
— Both teams had their opportunities. The score on the board reflects what we deserved, — quoted Abdiev, as stated by the club’s press service on their Telegram channel.
After 28 matches, “Orenburg” is in 15th place in the RPL standings with 19 points. Meanwhile, “Khimki,” having played the same number of games, is in 12th place with 26 points.
