LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person accused of vandalizing a southwest Las Vegas valley neighborhood and spraying paint on a police officer’s face was arrested Wednesday, in line with police.

Based on an arrest report from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, officers responded round 11 a.m. on April 23 to the Royal Ridge Estates, close to Decatur Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue, after a lady reported seeing a person spray-painting the outside partitions.

The lady instructed police that the person, later recognized as Mitchell Nettles, was spray-painting the property’s partitions. When she referred to as 911, Nettles approached her and her husband’s automobile and sprayed it with paint. Police stated she instructed her husband to drive away shortly, and Nettles started chasing them.

Officers arriving on the scene noticed Nettles strolling alongside Decatur Boulevard, nonetheless holding a can of spray paint. When officers instructed Nettles to come back to the entrance of their patrol automobile, Nettles ignored them and continued southbound. As officers continued to method Nettles, he moved the hand holding the spray can in entrance of his physique, blocking it from their view, police stated.
