Your involvement will be integral as you join our aquaculture division while gaining direct access to one of the leading global networks for fisheries’ wellbeing through Åkerblå – now under DNV’s umbrella. PRIMARY DUTIES:
This role is crucial not only for offering guidance but also for cultivating groundbreaking practices within our aquatic health department. The selected candidate will actively support knowledge exchange between the UK and Norway.
Monitoring piscine wellness across various aquaculture facilities throughout all life stages.
Assuring quality control during delousing procedures as well as vaccination protocols; conducting hygiene inspections; managing other critical fish welfare activities.
Aiding in forming biosecurity plans along with strategic approaches towards fish management.
Educating others about optimal practices in aquaculture.
Diving into specific aquatic health incidents followed by comprehensive reporting.
The capability to prescribe medication within U.K jurisdiction.

Caring towards clients while demonstrating strong ethical standards;

Eager about hands-on fieldwork even amidst remote environments or offshore;
