The anticipated Ram 1500 REV may have some exciting features, most notably its 800-volt architecture that significantly enhances charging speed. Shifting Timelines for Release
Initially unveiled during the Super Bowl commercials of early 2023, the release date for the electric Ram was scheduled for late 2024. However, after reassessing their timeline and operations, Ram has postponed the launch to somewhere within the first half of 2025. Yet again, that timeline proved optimistic as the target was soon revised to a projected debut in 2026. In an unexpected pivot, Stellantis will be introducing a series-hybrid version known as the Ramcharger featuring a sizeable 92-kWh battery in early this year instead.
