The couple welcomed their baby just in time for the festive season.

Former Irish rugby star Ian Madigan and his wife Anna Kirwan have welcomed their first child.
Taking to Instagram, they shared that their son was born on December 23rd, just days before Christmas.
“Our baby boy, Sonny Laurence Madigan, arrived into the world on 23.12.24. A love so deep, we can’t put it into words. What a truly magical experience. Our Christmas miracle forever x”
A series of black and white snaps showed the couple cradling their newborn baby after Anna gave birth.
Other heartwarming snaps include one of Ian and his son doing skin to skin contact, and another showing the proud father carrying his son through the festive hospital corridor as they brought him home for Christmas.
“Huge, huge, huge congrats you guys, he is so beautiful,” gushed model Thalia Heffernan in the comments.
“Oh my goodness he’s perfect! Congratulations to you both xx,” added make-up artist Michelle Regazzoli Stone.
The couple announced the pregnancy in July with a stunning photoshoot.
“We can’t wait to meet you little one, you are so incredibly loved already ,” the post was captioned.
Ian and Anna began dating in 2016 before getting engaged on Dun Laoghaire pier in 2019.
They tied the knot in 2022 after Covid-19 scuppered their original wedding date.
Friends and family joined the pair at Gloster House in Co Offaly for the nuptials.
Ian (35) retired from Rugby in 2023 after a long career in the sport. He previously played for Leinster, Ulster, Bordeaux and Bristol Bears. He also previously played for Ireland.
Anna (31) is a successful fashion and lifestyle influencer, with more than 27k followers on Instagram.
