Out of 114 photographs submitted from across 46 countries spanning all six continents, judges Valerie Adams, Raquel Cavaco Nunes, Mathieu Forget, Pascal Rondeau, and Christian Taylor shortlisted their favorites to just 11 images. Ultimately, they deliberated to select three outstanding finalists.
As part of this year’s exhibition, all shortlisted photographs will be showcased in a digital gallery on the World Athletics website later this month. The winning image will be revealed through World Athletics’ communication channels during the award ceremony.
