Aston Villa will look to make it three wins from three in the Champions League as they welcome Bologna to Villa Park.
Unai Emery’s men have recorded impressive wins over Young Boys and Bayern Munich so far, which sees them occupy sixth place in the newly-formatted league phase.
Bologna travel to face English opposition once again after losing 2-0 to Liverpool at Anfield in their last Champions League game as they hunt for their first win following a 0-0 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk on Matchday 1.
With this being Villa’s first campaign in Europe’s elite competition for 41 years and Bologna’s first ever, this is the first time the duo have ever met in an official fixture, with Villa losing four of their six matches against opponents from Italy previously.
