St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum
St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum celebrates its 150th anniversary with “150 Years of Light”: A Colorful Night at the Lighthouse” on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Click here for details. Spanish Street Fiesta
Celebrate the Spanish Street Fiesta in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Thursday, Oct.17 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Fountain of Youth. Hosted by Miracle on the Bayfront, attendees will enjoy food and cocktails from Meehan’s Irish Pub, Oddbirds Cocktail Lounge and Kitchen, Pesca by Michael, Heart and Soul Food Truck and Yamo Food Truck, plus live entertainment and family activities, all for a worthy cause.
Litter Gitter Trip
The Matanzas Riverkeeper is hosting its Litter Gitter Trip cleanup program on Oct. 17 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. to remove trash from St. Johns County’s waterways. Details can be found here.
Sheriff Hardwick’s Haunted Jail: Alien Invasion
Sheriff Hardwick’s Haunted Jail: Alien Invasion will be held Friday, Oct. 18, Saturday, Oct. 19, Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26, at the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Jail Annex, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The outdoor event features movies, trunk or treat, games, photo booths, face and nail decorating, spooky-themed patrol cars, food drinks and more. Marineland Dolphin Adventure Monster Mash
Marineland Dolphin Adventure presents Monster Mash, a family-friendly event, Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 18-19 and Oct. 25-26 from 6 to 9 p.m. The spooky and terrifying Halloween celebration includes a haunted house, dolphin show, photo ops and theatrical presentations through six fun, spine-tingling stations throughout the Marineland facility.
St. Benedict the Moor Blues Festival
Lincolnville’s St. Benedict the Moor Blues Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19, with proceeds going to the restoration of the historic St. Benedict the Moor rectory and church. Click here for details.

West Augustine Cemetery Cleanup

SurfQuest
SurfQuest, a free monthly beach-day for anyone with a disability will be held at Crescent Beach’s Mary Street beach ramp on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. SurfQuest joins those with intellectual and development disabilities with active volunteers to introduce the sport of surfing. Human Trafficking Awareness Walk

Paint, clean and repair veterans’ homes
The St. Johns Housing Partnership is mobilizing volunteers to paint, clean and repair homes for veterans for “National Make a Difference Day,” on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for details.
Jail Break 5K
Old Town Trolley Tours and INK! (Investing in Kids) present the eighth annual Jail Break 5K on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 a.m. Runners begin at the Old Jail and run through Magnolia Avenue to cross the Vilano Bridge and end on the beach. Old Town Trolleys will return everyone back to the jail. Details can be found here.
Vibe-Rations Music Festival
Vilano Beach Vibe-Rations Music Festival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Vilano Beach Oceanfront Park. The pet-friendly event features local rock bands including Bad Endings, Dewey Via Band, Money for Nothing,and Vintage Vixens. Ticket information can be found here.

The City of St. Augustine Beach is hosting Donuts with the Mayor to celebrate Mobility Week and Florida Cities Government Week on Friday, Oct. 25 8-10 a.m. at 400 A1A Beach Blvd.
Goat Yoga and Boos and Brews 5k Race
Join Ancient City Brewing’s Goat Yoga on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Ancient City Brewing’s Flagship Brewhouse in St. Augustine. Presented in partnership with Zen Hooves, Goat Yoga runs from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The frolicking yoga class takes place before the Annual Boos and Brews 5k Race and 1-mile Fun Run.
Romanza Collage Concert Series

The 28th Annual EPIC Ancient City Kids Day will be held Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Francis Field. The free event includes more than 40 youth service organizations hosting games, activities, contests, crafts, giveaways and bounce houses. Information can be found here.
Mortality and Mourning: A Century of Death
Mortality and Mourning: A Century of Death at the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum will be held Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 18-19 and Oct. 25-26 at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. The candlelight tour leads guests through the 226-year-old house museum showcasing cultural practices and stories from Old St. Augustine. Peace in the Park 2024
Celebrating 15 years of service, Pie in the Sky Community Alliance hosts Peace in the Park 2024 on Oct. 27 at Eddie Vickers Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will line up in a “Human Peace Sign” at 11 a.m.
